MINI One First 5 door is Capable of 75 HP
MINI has stated that an innovated entry-level powertrain will be on sale for the 5-door variant in two months.
The MINI One First 5 door will be equipped with a 1.2 TwinPower Turbo three-cylinder powertrain with convertible distribution shaft control on the inflow and exhaust side. The vehicle is capable of producing 75 hp (or k55 kW) and 150 Nm (or 11lb-fit) of torque at 1,400 rpm. The power is enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) speeding in 13.4 seconds.
The engine is joined to an innovated six-speed gear box. It is said to offer optimized efficiency, decreased weight and an enhanced level of shift comfort. The average consumption of fuel equals to 5.21/100 km with the CO2 emission level of 121 gr/km.
The innovated 1.2-litre engine expands the MINI 5 door powertrain line-up to four petrol and three diesel units capable of producing from 75 hp (or 55 kW) to 192 hp (141 kW).
