Lincoln MKC will change name to Corsair
Lincoln is going to rename the compact MKC.
Automotive News writes that the Americans will give up the name "MK" for their crossovers. We add that with this name the car lived for 11 years. Last fall Lincoln replaced the mid-size MKX off-road vehicle with Nautilus model.
Regarding Corsair, the novelty is expected for 2020. The preliminary information says that the engine compartment of the cross-country will include the inflatable V4 from Ford EcoBoost and a hybrid installation.
The current Lincoln MKC with the base Ford Global C received the latest updates in late 2017. The premiere of the car was held in Los Angeles. Motor range Lincoln MKC includes a petrol turbo engine 2.0 liters on 254 hp. and a 2.3-liter 285-hp unit.
Today MKC is considered the most popular car in the company in the car market of China. In the US market the model are also selling well - more 25,000 cars per year.
