Ram Rumble Bee Officially Debuted at Woodward

Ram has uncovered a fresh sport-truck model known as the Rumble Bee, a modern take on a classic trim package.

Rumble Bee is based off a Ram R/T, and receives its power from a 5.7-liter HEMI with 395 hp and 407 lb-ft of torque that has been fit with a cold-air intake system. All the jam is transferred through an 8-speed automatic transmission, hooked up to a 4.10 rear-axle gear.

Angry looks continue the trim package with the Rumble Bee sporting ‘drone yellow’ matte paint with a gloss black accent stripe complete with the brand’s classic ‘speed bee’ style. Gloss black 24-inch Vellano VRH custom wheels are equipped, while the suspension is lowered by 2-inches, providing the Rumble Bee a tough low-profile appearance.

Talking about the interior, the black and yellow theme is carried over with 2-tone leather sport mesh seats and ‘Rumble Bee’ stitched into the chairs, floor mats and door bolsters. Obviously the most special element of this vehicle is the fresh rotary shift-knob which has an actual amber-encased bee inside of it, complete with its own backlighting and honeycomb pattern background.

Moreover, designers created two buttons to control the volume of the Mopar cat-back dual-exhaust system. They are fitted below the shift knob, regulating the exhaust to either ‘loud’ or ‘LOUDER!.’ Finishing up inside, 10th anniversary commemorative emblems are fitted to the dash along with a honeycomb pattern.

The vehicle was revealed at the Woodward Dream Cruise taking place this weekend in Detroit, Michigan. Ram has just named the package a concept, and has yet to comment on whether or not it will make it to production as a limited-version vehicle.
