MINI Cooper 5-Door Hatch Spotted Testing

Now that the fresh MINI Hardtop has been publically uncovered at the 2013 LA Auto Show, expect a lot of new MINI Cooper versions to debut in the approaching years.

Carsbase‘s photographers have spied the fresh MINI Cooper 5-door hatch testing and has even dropped some of its cover since we last saw it. In comparison to the regular 3-door hatch, the 5-door hatch has a more inclined roof line.

It has been rumored that the MINI Cooper 5-door hatch will share powerplants with the Clubman, which was also spotted by Carsbase‘s photographers few days ago. Those powerplants feature a 3-cylinder with 135 hp and 163 lb-ft of torque while the Cooper S will sport a 4-cylinder motor with 188 hp and 206 lb-ft of torque.
