Mercedes CLA Turned Out to Be the Best US Launch of the Company in Two Decades

Mercedes-Benz CLA, which is ready to be sold in dealerships, has all the chances to become the best Mercedes car launched in US since 1993.

The sales of CLA break the records from the very beginning, says Steve Cannon, head of the American Mercedes-Benz department. Apart from quick selling and low supply expected in February – June of the next year, the German brand has already informed the dealerships that the amount of the cars until summer 2014 will be less than anticipated, because its Hungary plant has only started a full-fledged operation.

CLA has given the hope for Mercedes to outsell competitor vehicles of BMW. Besides, it has attracted new buyers: the average age of CLA-Class cars is 46, which is 8 years younger than that of average C-Class customers and 11 years younger than that of brand sales in general.

Dealerships give enthusiastic feedback about enlivened flow of customers, and the overall amount of sold Mercedes cars is a proof that a large share of it can be ascribed to the new CLA.
