2016 Formula 1 Schedule is confirmed while US GP is Uncertain
There is a doubt about the Austin event’s future. Its date (October 23) was penciled in for confirmation.
The thing is that the event needs to move a contract with the national sporting authority to the final stage. Besides, Bernie Ecclestone is against the backdrop of funding moments.
This uncertain condition of the event may have hinted the only tweak to the schedule that was confirmed earlier this year. Mexico’s date was changed from November 6 to October 30.
It looks like it will be a back-to-back with Austin and not with Brazil.
The Baku Gran Prix is scheduled for June 19. This means that the event will clash with Le Mans.
The early start time for the competition helps not to clash with the final stage of the endurance classic. Therefore, Nico Hulkenberg, the Le Mans winner, will not be able to defend his title.
