Lexus RC F Safety Car Presented for Eight-Cylinder Supercars

Lexus has presented their innovated RC F Safety Car for the eight-cylinder Supercars series.

The Safety Car is scheduled to be used sometime later in 2015. The vehicle has a roof-mounted light bar along with a pretty racing livery. The automaker was coy on additory changes, though the car is equipped with a 5.0-litre eight-cylinder powertrain which generates 470 hp (or 351 kW) and torque of 530 Nm (or 391 lb-ft).

Besides, the company will also present the GS 350 F Sport Course Car and the IS 350 F Sport Medical Car. The vehicles have the mentioned before changes along with a 3.5-litre six-cylinder powertrain developing 312 hp (or 233 kW) and torque of 378 hp (or 278 lb-ft).

Chief executive of Lexus Australia stated that the partnership is a perfect chance to present Australian motorsport admirers the innovated RC F which is suited to both driving on a road and on a track.

His statements were echoed by eight-cylinder Supercars chief executive. He said that the outstanding RC F safety vehicle will be a feature of its own.
