Jaguar Land Rover Will Use BMW V8 Motors

Coming-soon Jaguar Land Rover offerings might be powered by BMW eight-cylinder engines.

Automobile states that the automaker will market the twin-turbo eight-cylinders to Jaguar Land Rover. BMW offers a 4.4-litre twin-turbo eight-cylinder engine that produces 450-600 hp. Rumours say that there is a 4.0-litre engine in development. The automaker will probably use the smaller 4.0-litre twin-turbo eight-cylinder engine on the performance cars rather than the current 4.4-litre mill.

This is actual for Jaguar Land Rover that has invested into the latest Ingenium modular engine range. It is based on a V4 engine. Jaguar Land Rover is also working on inline-three and inline-six engines. It will need to source an eight-cylinder from another car producer. So, we suppose that BMW will be a partner.
