Leakage of New Hyundai Veloster Turbo

Nürburgring keeps delivering new leakages to the public. This time spy cameras caught a prototype presenting the peculiar-looking combination of coupe and hatchback from Hyundai undergoing a test.

The mule of Hyundai Veloster Turbo tried to overcome tricky Nürburgring tracks. The model has faced an active discussion in the press regarding its mixed body type. Production version of the modified vehicle is to appear in the third quarter of the next year.

Notorious construction of the car implying 2+1 doors has raised its fair share of criticism during the 2011 release. What the designers of Veloster had in mind was a product featuring both a comfortable layout inherent to hatchbacks and elegance of coupes.

Due to heavy camouflage of the mule at Nürburgring, conclusions about applied alternations are hard to be made. Apart from the fact that it obviously kept the general size, one can discern a revised front bumper and lighting configuration.

Hyundai has at least one aspect to be proud of – Veloster Turbo is so far its most potent modification seen on the UK market. Compared to a standard version, it is distinguished by changed chassis and body components. Compact 1.6-litre engine develops 184 bhp and 195 lb-ft.
