Hyundai Santa Fe Deliveries Reaches A Million Level

Hyundai celebrated the delivery of its millionth Santa Fe crossover these days.

The Korean company presented the Santa Fe in September, 2000 and made everything possible to help the brand to grow in the North American market.

“For many loyal Hyundai customers today, it was their entry point to the brand,” Hyundai North America Chief John Krafcik informed.

Hyundai was globally known for constructing economical compact vehicles until the Santa Fe was uncovered. At the time, it was one of only a few compact crossovers being delivered. Now the market is flooded as most auto-companies provide some spin on the segment.

Deliveries go on to be strong for the Santa Fe with sales up almost 23 % through the first 7 months of the year. Gains in June were even stronger for the Santa Fe, where deliveries rose by over 48 % in comparison to the same month last year.

Nowadays, Hyundai sells two variants: the Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport. The latter is a shorter wheelbase, 5-seat edition while the normal Santa Fe provides seating for up to 7 persons.
