Cadillac’s Project Pinnacle starts off this January.
The company offers buyouts to 400 of the smaller dealers located in America. Actually, this is 43% of the company’s dealer network within the U.S. However, they account just 9% of the automaker’s sales.
The producer’s boss says that this will be a long and challenging trip for brave-hearted.
Some dealers will be offered $180,000 to give up from the franchise. The boss says that the offers start at $100,000 and their median value is about $120,000. It will be necessary to decide until November 21 for the franchise owners if they want a buyout.
During last week, 474 dealers have enrolled the project.
