More is known now about the next Bentley SUV as the brand held a press conference at its Crewe office.

Probably the greatest excitement surrounded the preview picture of the front bumper of the vehicle. It turns out that the designers decided to digress from the concept look presented in Geneva in 2012 and equip the bumper with head lamps more resembling the Continental instead.

Bentley chose to remain unclear on mechanical specifics, which compels to recollect the previous information implying that the brand is planning on releasing a luxury hybrid SUV. At the press conference the company fuelled the initial advertisement assuring that the utility vehicle will top the ratings of price tags and performance in its segment when it is presented in 2016.

The British automaker is very enthusiastic about the new car and plans to move at least 3,000 units per year. Such expectations are likely to be realized considering the company’s breakthrough of 2013 when operating revenue reached £139.7 million and almost 20% more vehicles were sold than previous year.

Investment of approximately $1.3 billion is anticipated from the brand in order to stimulate its car and accessories production up to 2017.
