- Production kicks off in September, with deliveries slated for later this year.
BMW is drawing the curtain on the Alpina XB7 by launching a limited Manufaktur edition specifically for the US and Canadian markets.
The SUV is equipped with BMW’s 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged S68 V8 engine, paired with an eight-speed Alpina Switch-Tronic transmission that incorporates a 48-volt integrated motor. This setup delivers an impressive 631 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, enabling a sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds.
Buyers can choose from two fresh exterior shades: Frozen Alpina Green and Frozen Alpina Blue. Additional styling elements include Shadowline high-gloss black accents around the grille, window surrounds, intake vents, and exhaust tips, alongside exclusive Alpina badging. The vehicle rides on standard 23-inch Alpina Classic 20-spoke forged wheels.
Inside, the cabin showcases Alpina-branded front headrests in coordinated green or blue hues, complemented by Tartufo Full Merino leather upholstery and Walnut Nature Black trim. Comfort features include rear captain’s chairs, a premium Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system, and two brown Lavalina leather weekender bags.
Pricing and Release Details
Production of the 2026 Alpina XB7 Manufaktur will begin in September, with customer deliveries expected in the last quarter of the year. Pricing starts at $181,550, which includes a $1,550 destination fee—roughly twice the base price of a standard X7.
The limited edition will be assembled at BMW’s Spartanburg, South Carolina facility, marking the first time an Alpina vehicle has been manufactured outside of Germany. The Alpina X7 has been produced there since 2020.
With Alpina now fully integrated under BMW’s umbrella, the brand is poised to become a direct rival to luxury marques like Mercedes-Maybach. This strategic move suggests future Alpina versions of the X7 and possibly other models will carry enhanced luxury and performance credentials.
