Chevy has presented a new option for the smartphones.

Active phone cooling is present in a lot of Chevrolet offerings. It allows keeping smartphones from overheating during using wireless charging. The automaker’s engineers saw that some telephones can suspend charging. They can even shut off during extreme heat testing.

The issue was fixed simply. The automaker has added a cold-air vent to the little bin in the centre stack. The phone is there while being charged wirelessly. It is known that wireless charging itself can result in the rising of the phone’s temperature together with high demand on its image processor or data.

Telephone cooling will be possible to obtain on the next year’s Malibu, Impala, Volt and Cruze offerings which can boast wireless charging.
