Web Appearance of 2015 Cooper S Cabrio from MINI

Nürburgring became the test ground that leaked the images of next year’s MINI variant of Cooper Cabrio due to arrive by the end of 2014.

Considering the previous leakages, bright yellow disguise of the prototype has been a weak protection. Production-stage appearance of the vehicle is already chosen. Some resemblance will definitely be found with the standard offering. Distinguishing features of the car include compact rear window, soft top and certain tailgate-mounted lighting.
Powertrain of the cabriolet is presented by a turbo petrol V4 motor with 2.0-litre volume producing almost 190 bhp and torque of 206 lb-ft. The platform for the car will be borrowed from BMW. It is planned to accompany a range of motors chosen by MINI in 2014. Among them one can find a V3 petrol propulsion making 134 bhp and 170 lb-ft and a less potent diesel offering developing 20 bhp less with a 30 lb-ft boost.

Wraps will be taken off MINI Cooper S Cabrio during the following quarter and customers will get access to it in late 2014 – early 2015.
