Internet Presence of 650S from McLaren before Official Release

Fans of McLaren have a chance to look at the new 650S even before the presentation in Geneva. The car seems to bear resemblance to P1 and features of MP4-12C.

Being a remake of MP4-12C, the new model will gain 25 hp to total 650 hp with torque of 485 lb-ft. Designers decided to go lightweight on 650S and equipped it with the suiting wheels accompanied by brakes of carbon ceramics. The buyers can also opt for seats made of carbon fibre, which was a feature of P1 supercar.

Resemblance of 650S to P1 is especially visible with the front look. McLaren presented the latter model a year before at the same show. The official release is yet to come and further specifics will have the company’s confirmation.
