VW’s VR6 engine will go on into another generation despite last rumors that suggested the opposite.

The creative and talented newcomer VW team has just unveiled their latest project, cloned the VW GTI Cabriolet Austria at this year’s Wothersee event.

VW‘s VR6 powerplant was highly popular over the year, and despite its success in the brand-new Passat, Touareg and Porsche‘s Cayenne, VW is looking for alternatives to their VR6 for next production models.

VW is on the road to this year’s Worthersee event with its marvelous 503-hp Design Vision GTI.

Volkswagen has revealed the price for the range-topping Beetle R-Line, which will cost $30,930, and fresh specs for its turbo engine that now generates additional 10 HP.
