Now Aston Martin promises to electrify its entire range over the next decade.
The company’s CEO stated that the company wants to start a move to hybrid and electric cars soon.
Andy Palmer told that they will be 100% hybrid by the middle of the 2020s.
Aston Martin is going to handle all of its EV and hybrid manufacturing in-house. Palmer says that there should be a core technology inside one’s company. And he believes EVs to be the core technology.
The 1st car in the venture is called the RapidE. It will be manufactured in a limited volume. Only 155 cars will be available.
The RapidE should come out in 2 years.
